PORT BARREL AGED ABBEY DUBBEL

Our Observance Abbey Dubbel was an original tribute to Gethsemane Monastery. The oldest operating Trappist monastery in the United States. A portion of this brew was tucked away in port wine barrels where it rested to grow in maturity and take on an array of complexity. Nelson Co. boasts aromatics and flavors of red grape, dark fruits, and oak. It’s wine-like finish with mellow drying tannins allows this beer to slowly fade from the palate with every sip.
