Day 24 - Merry Christmas, Adventers!

If you can believe it, this is your final advent slot. We hope you've enjoyed the last 24 days of holiday cheer. We sure enjoyed putting it together for you. In this slot you will find a polaroid of someone who helped curate/pack your box (or maybe even the person writing this post, hehe), & a heartfelt thank you note. This advent box is a labor of love each year, and we hope you look forward to it as much as we do.

Wait a sec though, that's not all -- we couldn't leave you without a beer on the last day! Also in this slot is our classic winter warmer, Christmas Ale. Dark, sweet, and complex with an array of spices, including: orange peel, nutmeg, and cinnamon. It's a can full of Christmas cheer! Enjoy by the tree or fire in the coming days.

Day 23 - Game Night!

Yahtzee?? More like Sixthzee!! On day 23, we bring you one of our proudest inventions -- West Sixth Yahtzee. With specially designed score sheets, pencils, and even DICE, -- Sixthzee's gonna steal the show at your holiday gatherings. It's played just like regular ol' Yahtzee -- have fun, shake those dice, and tag us in your Sixthzee game day videos if you post 'em!! CHEERS and SIXTHZEE!!

Day 22 - Pay it Forward <3

Pay it Forward Cocoa Porter. We love this beer for a number of reasons -- as a beer, it's a big and roasty American Porter with Tabal Chocolate cacao nibs, giving it lots of unique, chocolate character. More than a beer, though, Cocoa Porter is a huge part of our giving back philosophy here at West Sixth Brewing. When you buy a six pack of Cocoa Porter, we donate 50 cents to our local non-profit partner. Right now, money is going back to the Sixth for A Cause Foundation -- our charitable branch, which we launched last March! West Sixth for a Cause Foundation will allow us to give back in bigger and better ways as we continue to grow. Day 21 - Strawberry Fields

Have you visited the West Sixth Farm yet?? We absolutely love it out there on our 120 acre property -- it's a great place to take a hike, play some disc golf, or just kick back with a beer. A beer like, say, Strawberry Kolsch! Today's can offering is one of our fruity summer favs -- Kolsch is a light German style ale originating in Cologne, and we added strawberries to this easy drinking and refreshing beer style! Cheers, friend -- and come on out to the farm some time -- you've got a sticker now, it'd only be right.

Day 20 - Bulleit & Beer

Today is all about celebrating our Bourbon & Beer partnership with Bulleit! We started this collaboration series a little over a year ago, and we just released our latest collab beer in November -- Rye Barrel Porter. Rye Barrel Porter is a Robust Porter aged in Bulleit Rye Whiskey Barrels. Layered with aromas and flavors of malty caramel, toasty chocolate and hints of toffee. Notes of Rye Whiskey mingle throughout, creating a complex yet quaffable barrel aged beer. This guy clocks in at 9% ABV.

Also included in this slot is a beautiful pin from our friends at Bulleit bourbon, and a handmade bourbon barrel Stave Ornament that will look just gorgeous on your beer-lover tree for years to come!

Day 19 - Orange You Glad it's Sour Day?

Sour day! In a good way!! Today's slot is a double beer day with our classic Berliner Weisse Sour, paired with its orange-y friend, Valencia Berliner Weisse! Berliner is a crisp and refreshing sour German ale that is light in body and very tart with flavors reminiscent of sourdough bread. One of our unique, year-round offerings!

Valencia Berliner Weisse is Berliner with a twist -- offered seasonally in summer, this one is our classic Berliner with tons of Valencia Oranges added to the brew to add a bright, citrusy flavor. Both brews come in around 4.5% ABV -- we suggest giving 'em a good chill & enjoying them back to back. Or save Valencia for a sunny day so you can pretend we're in warmer weather ;)

Day 18 - Put a Pennant in it!

We do love our felt pennants here at West Sixth! This felt pennant is extra special, though, because it was lovingly designed just for you, Adventer, by our Marketing and Creative Director, Kelly! Hang it in a special spot & reminisce on all the great, West Sixth Advent Box, memories. Plus, it just like, looks really great!

Day 17 - Pennyrile + Cricket Press =

a match made in beer heaven! You already know Cricket Press -- they made those super cool enamel pins from earlier in the advent. They've really outdone themselves on this slot with the advent exclusive, can Keychain. Throw it on your keys with pride, y'all!

The second part of this slot is our award winning American Pale Ale - Pennyrile. Our Pale Ale has a big fruity hop aroma with a taste that follows suit. A subtle and balanced malt character creates a canvas for the hops to shine. Clocking in at 6.5% ABV -- Pennyrile is an awesome, classic West Sixth beer to enjoy any time.
