Photographer Guidelines at the West Sixth Farm
-All professional photographers must inquire in advance for photoshoot requests and be confirmed on their date. You can send us a direct message on social media or an email at info@westsixth.com
-We ask all shoots to pay a $25 flat fee - this goes directly to upkeep of the grounds — split with our trail partners at Kentucky Mountain Bike Association and our volunteers with our Bluebird Trail/Bird feeders. You can pay this donation at the bar day-of shoot!
-Photographers must check-in at the taproom during open hours.
-Photoshoots during open hours may not include intrusive props (i.e. couches, plants, colored smoke bombs, balloons, confetti, benches, pickup trucks etc;) but small items (i.e. blankets, umbrellas, a small chair) are ok. Driving up the hill or anywhere on the grounds is prohibited. Please inquire if you’re unsure!!
-Larger scale photoshoots or session scheduling (‘minis’, multiple client shoots) will be approved on a case-by-case basis and subject to a 10% grounds fee! Please reach out with substantial time to book.
-Photographers shooting during open hours must be considerate to patrons and their privacy -- asking other customers to move for a photo is not permitted.
-All farm rules and risks are in place - please leash any pets and outside alcohol is not permitted. No fires or lighting equipment permitted.
